Access to data from connected vehicles: There is still time to act !

The members of the Connected Mobility Alliance for All have signed a forum through which they ask the public authorities, at European level, to implement, in addition to cross-cutting legislation such as the Digital Market Act or the Data Act, a sectoral legislation on access to data from connected vehicles.
For the Alliance, faced with car manufacturers who are signing, one after the other, agreements on access to data from connected vehicles with non-European technological players, who already aggregate a large part of our personal data ( social networks, smartphones, connected objects, etc.), it is urgent to act so that all players in the connected vehicle ecosystem are treated on an equal footing.
This is essential to defend the interests of consumers, to preserve European sovereignty, to act effectively for road safety and energy efficiency.
